| Overview of Amara Creekside Resort & Spa | |
| Amara Creekside Resort in Sedona, Arizona is a small, intimate resort situated along the banks of Sedona's famous Oak Creek, just off the main street of uptown Sedona, where you'll find numerous art galleries, boutique stores, and restaurants. Although Armara resort is small, the luxury is in the details - ultra-comfortable beds, whirlpool bathtubs, Aveda toiletries, and complimentary resort-wide WiFi internet access, to name just a few. The staff at Amara Creekside Resort goes out of their way to ensure that you get to experience all that Sedona has to offer - from arranging local jeep tours and trips to the Grand Canyon, to driving you up the hill (if you don't want to walk) to the shops and restaurants and even picking you up when you're ready to return (just give them a call so they know when to retrieve you). And if relaxing next to a babbling creek isn't enough to calm your senses, Amara Resort has just spent over $2 million on building a brand new, state-of-the-art european-style Spa, known as Elements Spa, with a grand opening slated for November 2006. |

| Facilities & Amenities - Amara Creekside Resort & Spa | |
The Amara Creekside Resort & Spa is putting the final touches on their brand-new $2 million dollar state-of-the-art Elements Spa, due to open in November 2006, which will include six treatment rooms, manicure/pedicure areas, separate men's and women's service areas and locker rooms, as well as a couples' treatment room and a central "relaxation room" where groups or couples can meet to unwind before and/or after treatments, along with full weight-training facilities. Although small (4,000 square feet), Elements Spa is expertly designed to offer a tranquil, spiritual and meditative experience. The new Elements Spa will be one of only five in the US (and the only one in the southwest) to feature the Elemis treatment program and line of products (originated in London and used by many celebrities and a current darling of beauty publications and experts). In addition, Amara Resort has invested in training nearly 20 full-time employees in the Elemis program. Until the new Elements Spa opens in November, Amara Resort will continue to offer Spa Treatments in their existing two-treatment-room facility, or in-room for an additional charge. Click on this link for a current menu of the Amara Creekside Resort Spa Menu, but please note that this menu will change when the new Elements Spa opens. A unique feature of the Amara Resort is its pool - small but relaxing, the pool is saltwater rather than the standard chemically treated freshwater, however, the salinity is less than the ocean and is barely noticeable. This is better for the environment as well as better for the body and hair - a nice change from all the drying chlorine. |
