Previously known as the Arizona Biltmore Hotel, this charming historic landmark originally opened in 1929 and is the only existing hotel the world with a Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced design, inspired by consulting architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who collaborated with former student Albert Chase McArthur. Thoughout the years the Arizona Biltmore Hotel underwent numerous restorations, renovations, additions, and improvements, but has always retained most of its original design and charm. Rechristened the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in the late 1990s, it now offers modern conveniences and amenities with the flavor of its history woven throughout the resort. When you stay at the Arizona Biltmore, you'll also find yourself in very close proximity to some fabulous shopping, excellent restaurants, and upscale nightlife, and if enjoying the outdoors is your thing, there are several terrific hiking trails close by, and many other ways to enjoy the desert setting and climate, from horseback riding, to jeep tours, hot air balloon rides, and much more. |

The distinctive influence of Frank Lloyd Wright is evidenced in the interior design of the Arizona Biltmore Resort's 738 guest accommodations. Mission-style furnishings and textiles in desert palettes of beige, sand and ivory dress the rooms. 1930s style lamps bring a western flair to the decor while reinforcing the period in which the hotel was built. The spacious rooms feature well-stocked mini-bars, a working desk with two chairs, two telephones equipped with voice-mail and speed dialing; marble baths and double sinks, hairdryers, make-up mirror and scale. The Arizona Biltmore offers a variety of guestrooms to choose from - to view a detailed description of each room type available click this link for Arizona Biltmore Room Types. In addition to their Guestrooms, the Arizona Biltmore also offers luxury Suites and Villas. Situated on nine acres, the Villas condominium complex includes 78 one and two bedroom / two-bath individually owned units, most of which are available for rent. Designed to blend with the Arizona Biltmore's historic Frank Lloyd Wright architecture, the Villas boast stunning views including the resort's famed Catalina Pool (Marilyn Monroe's favorite), Squaw Peak and Camelback Mountains, and the Arizona Biltmore Country Club's two 18-hole golf courses. The 1,600-square-foot residences feature 10- to 15-foot ceilings, private terraces and balconies, marble baths and gas fireplaces made from the distinctive "Biltmore Block." Landscaped grounds throughout reflect the elegance and under-stated beauty for which the resort is known. | Dining - Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa | |
The Arizona Biltmore Resort has long been a favorite of locals for spectacular dining - from the casual "let's meet at the Biltmore" lunch or dinner get-togethers, to those small- or large-scale celebrations of special significance, the Biltmore never disappoints when it comes to their world-class cuisine. A skilled culinary team of chefs, inventive cuisine and a variety of dining venues have earned The Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa a reputation for excellence in dining. Heading the team is award-winning Executive Chef Michael Cairns, who has blended Southwestern, French and Asian flavors to create New American and regional menus. Heavy creams have been eliminated in favor of richly flavored oils and infusions. Guests of the Arizona Biltmore can choose from a wide variety of dining venues, from a romantic dinner at Wright's to a casual snack break at The Café. Each equally distinctive, the restaurant interiors were inspired by the resort's Frank Lloyd Wright influenced design and incorporate regional furnishings and textiles. In addition to the Biltmore's four restaurants, guests are invited to enjoy Afternoon Tea. A late afternoon tradition for more than 50 years, Tea is offered throughout the season on a daily basis. Come and indulge in our freshly baked scones, miniature pastries, tea sandwiches and an exceptional variety of gourmet teas. Equally as important, the Arizona Biltmore has not forgotten it's youngest guests - they now offer the "Sun Power Kids Menu" (a KSL Resorts exclusive), that offers a healthy and delicious alternative to the typical hotel children’s menu. The new Sun Power Kids Menu puts a kids spin on some of today’s most popular dishes and foods, and uses only fresh, natural and low-fat ingredients.
