| Overview of the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa | |
| The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa will take your breath away the moment you walk inside - a stunning combination of luxurious elegance and southwestern decor with a strong indian influence - it is, after all, located on the Gila Indian Reservation - this beautiful casino resort has opulence and native-inspired art everywhere you look. A visit here is as much an education on the history and culture of the local indian tribes as it is a vacation. The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa has so many unique features - a 111-foot waterslide modeled after the Casa Grande Ruins, a 2-1/2 mile replica of the Gila River complete with boat rides, an equestrian center for desert trail rides, the Wild Horse Pass Casino, and so much more - that it's hard to cover everything in a single review - suffice to say that this family-friendly resort is an experience like no other resort that offers something fun for everyone. |

| Facilities & Amenities - Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa | |
The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa is the home of the 17,000 square-foot Aji Spa - named for the Pima word for "sanctuary", and it's a fitting name for this beautifully peaceful and relaxing retreat. The Aji Spa offers luxurious one-of-a-kind treatments with a Native American flavor. Developed from ancient rituals and featuring natural ingredients such as red clay from the Gila River and Cholla cactus bud, these treatments help to purify and rejuvenate the body. In addition, the Aji Spa at Wild Horse Pass Resort boasts a Watsu (underwater massage treatment), a traditional roundhouse, a state-of-the-art fitness facility, a sauna and whirlpool, a juice bar, and a full-service beauty salon. Click on this link for a brochure of Aji Spa Treatments and Salon Services. (Note this is a PDF file that will either open in a new browser window or download to your computer based on your personal browser settings). The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort & Spa is also home to the Whirlwind Golf Club, which boasts not just one, but two championship 18-hole golf courses, designed by Gary Pranks. Known for their challenging (but fair) play, stunning desert landscaping, and sweeping panoramic views of the Sierra Estrella Mountains, these courses are home to one stop on the PGA Tour - The Gila River Golf Classic, held every October, and are managed by Troon Golf, well known leaders in managing high quality golf courses. The most unique feature of this magnificent golf club is the enchanting river boat ride to the Whirlwind Golf Club from the Wild Horse Pass Resort - the most fun shuttle you'll ever ride! In addition, there are numerous recreational venues closeby to entertain and thrill you - such as Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass (an auhentic replica of an 1880's Frontier Town, Rawhide at Wild Horse Pass puts you in the middle of the action with cowboys, gunfights, stagecoach rides, retail shops, a steakhouse, and Western attractions), the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving (a multi-million dollar driving school that provides high performance, race driving, and advanced driving instruction), the Firebird International Raceway, the Kohl Equestrian Center (offering trail rides, riding lessons, and outdoor events), and several upscale shopping malls. |
